Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
